15 years ago, Pip Studio was founded in Amsterdam by Catharina van der Endt who decided it was time to colour outside the lines. Today, Pip Studio has grown up, but kept her playful character. Pip Studio is a reflection of Catharina’s positive personality and perspective on life. I 1875 åbnede Anna Eijffinger og hendes mand Theo en tapetbutik på tværs af gaden fra det kongelige palads Noordeinde i Haag. Det var en tid med en stigende interesse for indretning, især blandt velhavende. Anna havde et stærkt forretningsinstinkt og arbejdede bag kulisserne med at lede firmaet. På det tidspunkt var det yderst usædvanligt at finde en kvinde, der driver forretning. Dette tegn på kvinders befrielse dannede grundlaget for den excentriske og innovative vision, der karakteriserede mærket Eijffinger lige fra starten, og stadig gør den dag i dag.
